To gain weight, you need to eat the types of foods that will give you energy to lift heavy weights and provide the essential building blocks to repair the damage you&#8217;ve done to your muscles. The ideal snacks will give you you carbohydrates for energy, protein to repair and will taste good so you can eat them.</p>
<p>Bodybuilders are in love with tuna. Some eat more than one can per day. A 6oz can contains 150 calories which is almost all from protein (30 grams of it). This is a great daytime or nighttime snack: light on calories, high in protein. If you want it to be very low in fat, eat tuna in water instead of in oil.</p>

Thus, you have to be careful in performing day to day activities such as taking a bath, climbing up and down the stairs, getting in and out of a vehicle, carrying heavy objects, picking up something on the floor, and many others. Many senior citizens have weak joints and bones so when they encounter even minor accidents, they may end up breaking their bones or damaging their joints.</p>
<p>Know How To Distribute The Load</p>
<p>If one of your joints is more used than the others, you may be putting that overworked joint to severe stress. In order to preserve the health of all your joints, you have to know how to distribute weight, pressure or load. For example, instead of standing on one foot, make sure you stand up straight to distribute weight to both knee joints.</p>

<p>You might be surprised to find that it can be done - and in a number of different ways.</p>
<p>Although the kind of equipment which generally springs to mind when we think of a home gym such as a treadmill, elliptical trainer or multi-gym does cost hundreds of dollars per machine, you don&#8217;t need to buy this type of equipment to have a fully functional home gym.</p>
<p>In fact there is a lot of highly effective equipment available which you can buy for very little indeed if you know what to look for.</p>
<p>Even if you have the budget for a fully equipped home gym, why spend your money (and take up space in your home with those huge machines) when you can do just as well with a small fitness kit which can be tucked out of sight in a small closet?</p>
<p>So many people spend the money on fitness equipment only to find that they don&#8217;t use it after the first flush of enthusiasm wears off. If you suspect that might be you, why not start with a simple low-cost fitness kit and then buy something more substantial as a reward if you keep up your fitness program for at least 3 months.</p>
<p>You can get a few items which will be enough to cover all the major aspects of getting fit for less than $100 although you do need to use your budget wisely and choose those items which you will enjoy using as well as those which will be effective.</p>
<p>You may find that after 3 months you prefer to add other small equipment options to your kit rather than buying a big monster machine or two but who knows, a quality treadmill or multi-gym is a great investment in your health and fitness if by that time you know you have the motivation and self-discipline to use it.</div>

We could join an on site program, at an exotic resort in Bali, but what about our responsibilities? Obligations at home, on the job, or in college, are also part of our decision-making process in choosing the best Yoga certification program.</p>
<p>Consider this: If you took a solo vacation whenever you wanted - would you be employed, would you finish college, or would you have a family waiting for you, when you came home again? We all know someone who lives life to the beat of their own drum. This is fine, but we should not expect our employer, family, relationships, and obligations, to stay on hold.</p>
<p>Now, if we are financially independent, and we have no obligations or relationships to hold us back, then we can take a solo vacation any time we please. There are windows of time, in our lives, when we do not have obligations or relationships.</p>
<p>There is also the drain on your finances to be considered. How much are you prepared to invest in an on site certification program? Will you be able to recover your investment in the next year, or will you be paying for it the rest of your life? These questions may not seem Yogic, but you are the only one who finances your education.</p>
<p>We have come full circle. Obligations and finances are part of life, so we have to consider them any time we make an investment. The goal to become a certified Yoga teacher can be taken in small steps; it is just a matter of putting your plans into action.</p>
