Dieting: Will it Work or Fail for Weight Loss?

If you try and follow a strict, low-calorie diet, you are going to fail. That’s about as easy as quitting smoking cold turkey. Its just not going to happen.

But if you get professional advice, learn how to shop, plan, and prepare healthy (and still tasty) meals, while eating for energy, not out of boredom, then you can finally use a diet to be successful.

First, lets take a look at eating for energy, rather than out of boredom. Eating for energy means choosing foods that don’t slow you down. So make note of how you feel after eating certain meals. Does fast fat make you sluggish, tired, and bloated? If so, why on earth would you continue to eat it? Cut that out and replace the fast food with protein and fresh fruit.

Re-awaken your taste buds with fresh fruit, while at the same time increasing your energy levels and cutting your appetite (thanks to the fiber in fruit). You are probably used to sugary, salty snacks, so when you eat good fruit, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how good real food can taste.

And it’s so simple to plan and prepare. Set aside 2 hours on the weekend to make your shopping list, go to the store, and then come home and prepare your fruits and vegetables for the week. Grill a batch of chicken breasts to store in the fridge and freezer, and you’re set for many of your meals for the week. In addition, add almonds and other raw nuts to your lunch bag and you’ll have an appetite-fighting snack available at any time.

You can eat well and lose fat at the same time, while boosting your energy and metabolism. Stick to whole, natural foods in your diet and you’ll succeed.
